December journal page ~ Christmas card based

I love my journals and the Christmas season too! A few years ago I followed a daily journal page prompt event for the month of December. My favorite prompt was to base that days journal page on your favorite Christmas or Holiday card. You know we all have our favorites! You could draw/paint the image or sentiment, try out the collage style or any other techniques.

So create your sturdy (for example cereal box type cardboard backed) 5x7 journal page based on your favorite Christmas card! Also don't forget to sign your work and mail on time. That simple :)

I think it would be cool ~ but only optional ~ to send an email with the image of the card you based your journal page on after you've mailed to your partner! Fun, but optional.

I'll allow newbies to participate ~ I will Angel if needed. So, the rules are simple: Create your beautiful 5x7" journal page based on your favorite Holiday card ~ make sure it has a sturdy backing and you have signed your work & mail it on time ~ it's that simple :)

(Again, if you'd like to electronically send an image of the card you based on, that is not required and completely optional).

I will angel (I have a few favorite Holiday cards), but don't think it'll be necessary, right? :)
