Description:

It is tradition, that when you visit the Wailing Wall (the Western Wall) in Jerusalem, you leave a prayer or a hope or a wish on a small slip of paper somewhere in the cracks of the wall so that God might hear you and help you.

In this swap, we will read our partner's profile and write a hope, a wish or a prayer for our partner. Some of us are going through difficult times, some of us are beginning new endeavors, some of us are content and a hope that the contentment lasts! This should be a very personal message - something from your heart to your partner's.

Your message doesn't need to be long and should fit into a regular sized envelope. The postage should not be more than the cost of sending a letter. Typically, these messages are written on little, torn slips of paper - nothing fancy but it's entirely up to you! Your message should be short, to the point, and full of kindness and care.

Of course, sending someone well-wishes is NOT specifically Jewish! Your religious beliefs have nothing to do with the thoughtfulness of this swap. Please have a rating of at least 4.9 and newbies will not be allowed unless they have completed and rated in at least 3 swaps.

Todah Rabah - Thank you very much! Please contact your partner or me if you need information or assistance!

A hope, a wish and a prayer is en route to my partner in Australia. It's coming from the U.S.
