Skinny Card Art Collaboration

I love art collaboration swaps! I think it is so fun to see what all of the other participants have included!

These will be similar to ATC Jams, or PC art collab swaps-but with a Skinny card.

This first round will have 3 partners, subsequent rounds will only have 1 partner. This is due to this being the first swap of this type. Remember, you are only adding the background though!

Swap Requirements

  • One person starts the Skinny card by creating the background. Hand write your name and mailing address on the back or add an address label with your info. Also add your username & the swap name so you can be rated. Just make sure to leave room for all 3 players. Send to your partner.

*Each following round, the next artist will add 2 or 3 elements and then pass it on to the next artist for the next round. Do not send the artist who started the Skinny their own card to work on; simply start a new card and hold that one till the next round.

*When you receive the card-rate your partner. You can add your touches before the next round begins if you’d like. Hang onto the card until the next round.

*Player #2 adds their personal touches, it can be a stamped image, sentiment, etc...you may add 2-3 items or techniques to the card, Then put your info on the back of the card. Don’t forget to rate!

*The third person adds the 'finishing touches' and sends the original back to person #1. If you are finishing the Skinny, you will need to send a starter Skinny to your partner OR if you have others, you may send one of those. You will rate the person who sent you the card.

*If you want to send more than one card to add into rotation, that is fine. If you receive more than one card, you don’t have to send both cards in the next round..it gives you another option if you have one to finish and send home.

*You will need to join ongoing swaps so you can send the card you receive onto another partner.

*If you don't wish to join ongoing swaps, please send the card you received back to me so I can get them back into rotation.

*As some people will receive their card to work on sooner than others: I will be hosting these swaps frequently. Join in whenever you like-- you can always start a new skinny to go into rotation.

*All artists will work on one side of the Skinny, forming one art collaboration.

*No sticker slapping please, please make something nice.

*Please remember to put your user name and the swap name on the back of the card.

*If you have any questions..please ask!!

*Your Skinny must be the standard Skinny size (3" x 5")

*Your Skinny should adhere to the Skinny Rules listed in the group thread!

Ratings Expectations

I am not going to list Ratings expectations since this is a Group swap, however, please make sure you rate fairly and in a timely manner!

If "life happens" and you are going to be late, please pm your partner and myself to let us know what is going on!!

Any questions, please feel free to PM me.

EDITED TO ADD: Please remember to put your info on back and especially your address if you are the originator of the card! This way it can be mailed back to you when completed!!
