Description:

This swap is for a simple found/upcycled postcard. Since it's just cutting down to size, I don't think it's crafty enough for a Type 3 swap, so I'm marking it as Type 2.

NEWBIE-FRIENDLY.

  1. Find an interesting piece of cardstock/thin cardboard, such as part of decorative packaging, an old record sleeve, or the front of a notecard you receive, that has a plain back. Be sure it is thick enough to go through the mail, but it should not be much heavier than a normal postcard. Be sure that the card has an interesting design or pattern on it - no plain cardboard or boring product boxes. The goal here is to give a nice piece of design a second recycled life as a postcard!

  2. Cut it down to about 4x6".

  3. Write a message to your partner on it, stamp it, and send. You can decorate the message side if you want, but that's optional.

I will angel if necessary.

@kssunlover1947 pointed out the the 20th is a post holiday in the U.S., so I've changed the deadline to the 21st!
