Description:

This swap is meant to move some of your washi and sticker bags so you can start some new bags or get closer to having your bag come back to you.

This swap is a once in a while kind of swap, just to clear out the backlog some of us have. I encourage you to also join the other swaps: Washi Bags Across the World and Sticker Bags Across the World.

For this swap you will have 2 partners, and you will send 1 sticker bag and 1 washi bag to each of them. If you have them, please pass on washi and sticker bags that have already been started. However, if you don't have any to pass on, then feel free to start a new washi and/or sticker bag. If you are starting a new bag make sure to include your rules, your address, a place for senders to sign and which sender sends back to you. Most of the time it's the 5th sender. It's useful to have a rule that tells senders to put in more stickers/washi than they took out (but please be more specific).

If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or contact me personally.

Happy swapping!

I'm new. Can you explain the bags to me? Thank you!

Hello slaidlow!

Generally sticker bags and washi bags are similar, you take an envelope and put in a certain amount of stickers or washi tape, and on the envelope, or on a note inside, you include any rules you have for the bag (eg. No kid stickers, no teacher reward stickers, no glitter washi, no Disney, etc.) as well as your address, and space for people encounter your envelopes to sign their names or swap IDs - whatever you want to know about them. You can decide the number of people you want the envelopes to go to - I've seen as low as three and as high as six - and you decide how many stickers or washi tapes you want people to take and put in to your bags. I found out after my first washi bag swap that you are supposed to put the washi samples on a card and then cut between them so it is easy for your partners to take what they want. It's a useful tip.

I think that about covers it, but if you have questions, just ask.
