Welcome back to my monthly SOC Ltr. swap! If you're new here, welcome to you too! :) This swap is fun on a variety of levels! I know many people are participating in the pen pal / snail mail hobby, and if you write your letters like I do, your letters tend to be focused and organized. For this swap, you will write a letter, to ONE partner, based solely on stream of consciousness. Whatever enters your mind, no matter how random or nonsensical it may be to your partner, write it. Example: After work, I may visit my Gma. I have not had pizza in three weeks. A cup of coffee is on its way to me because my colleague is amazing to me. I love Thursdays AKA Friday Jr. This letter should be written in one sitting as not to lose the stream so the length requirement is reasonable: one standard 8.5X11 page (front only) or 1 letter set (typically, 2 smaller pages and a matching envelope). These are just examples to show expected length requirement; envelope doesn't have to match or other sized paper is Okay as long as it equals the same length Letters can be handwritten OR typed. Some have expressed that typing is better for them in regards to stream of consciousness so they can keep up with their thoughts and their partner can read the letter. These letters do NOT require a response. The initial topic / stream is writer's choice, and feel free to decorate the letter and the envelope! Requirements If you've been banned from one of my swaps, you didn't meet one or more of these requirements. If you think your ban was in error, please feel free to (politely) message me. I'm usually happy to do this swap privately :) Remember to include the swap name and your user ID in your letter. Feel free to abbreviate / use "SOC Ltr" Have fun with it! |
