That's a really cool idea! Would you consider extending the time between the signup and send by dates? A week isn't always enough time for me for something like this.

@Hell0Z0mbie - I extended the date. I was thinking a week because I already have a stack of Decos made that just need names added to them.

What if your partner is #1? Do you still make the deco for them? Or make it for someone else? I always feel a little weird when I receive a new deco that was made for me -- I don't know if I should do a page in my own deco or just "pass" and send it on to someone else. (Don't get me wrong -- I'm super grateful and honored that someone would take the time to make a deco for me. I just don't know the proper protocol for that situation. I guess this is a good time to ask what others do. TIA for any advice.) :)

@ccmmsu If I receive a deco that is made for me, I pass it on to someone in my next swap. I don't do a page in it but some people do.

I've altered the description a little.

If you are to send to the winner - it's ok to send the Deco to them. OR you could ask if they would like to you to send the Deco to someone else and you can send them a different Deco that they can decorate.

I've actually hosted a swap like this in the Yahoo groups a few years ago. I just figured everyone here would understand the alternatives
