Description:

I got this idea from another Swap Bot group that I am in so am "borrowing" it for our group!

Let's create some tags with collage layered backgrounds. Let's try to use at least 5 different layers for our backgrounds and let's use some part of a vintage book page for at least one of them. Let's use the #5 tag size which is 4 3/4" by 2 3/8". You can use premade tags or fashion your own.

So 2 tags, one each for two partners. At least 5 layers - arranged how you like - use your imagination and create a fabulous layered background to showcase a wonderful piece of vintage imagery.

So is the idea to make the tag completely ready, meaning that on the top of those 5 layers you also attach the main image and the other possible elements? And it says in the swap info that you send one tag for two partners, but the number of swap partners is marked as 1 in the info above...?

Thanks for reaching out and I goofed up when I put one partner - it should read 2 so thank you for that and I have corrected it. What I had in mind was to create a layered background for your tags then decorate as you like. I used layers of paper for mine, but you could use fabric, washi tape, vintage papers, scrapbook paper, etc. Just whatever strikes your fancy to make a layered and interesting background that you can decorate however you like.

Have fun!!

Should we punch a hole or leave intact?
