Start April 2020 differently with Weekly Journaling and Action Prompts as Lists which you will reflect on and then write 1 list for 1 week. At the end of the 5 lists for the 5 weeks in April, send it to your swap partner along with 5 flat items which can be a combination of senderโ€™s choice + swap partnerโ€™s likes to make it into a Happy Mail.

List 1 for Week 1 (Week 14 of 2020): List everything you feel passionate about.

TAKE ACTION: As Van Gogh said, โ€œI would rather die of passion than of boredom.โ€ Everyone has a deep-down something that they feel passionate about or desire. Sometimes, your passion conflicts with who you think you are or it feels difficult to attain with your busy schedule. Plan an afternoon this month that you will devote to exploring and investing in your deepest passion without fear or embarrassment..... you can share with your swap partner on what you have explored and invested in relation to this :)

List 2 for Week 2 (Week 15 of 2020): List the things you want to say no to.

TAKE ACTION: Did you include the words fear or guilt on your list? So often we spend so much time worrying about whether to say yes or no to a person or an experience that we get lost in guilt and worry. Itโ€™s ironic since the root of having a hard time saying no is that we are afraid of feeling guilty! This week follow your gut and practice saying no to the things you donโ€™t have the time, energy, or desire to do. Skip the guilt phase and enjoy feeling assured of your choices!.... you can share with your swap partner how this week went regarding this action prompt :)

List 3 for Week 3 (Week 16 of 2020): List the experiences that have made you feel you are living life to the fullest.

TAKE ACTION: Can you take the joy and excitement of these events and re-create them on a smaller scale? If you feel like itโ€™s doable, go wild and try one of these things in your everyday life this week. Share with your swap partner how did these go :)

List 4 for Week 4 (Week 17 of 2020): List the movies, books, and tv shows that make you feel happy.

TAKE ACTION: Tomorrow morning wake up a half hour earlier than normal and read your favourite book, or watch part of your favorite movie or TV show. Itโ€™s so much more fun waking up to indulge in what you love than waking up to do tasks! Share with your swap partner how this experience felt.

List 5 for Week 5 (Week 18 of 2020): List the things about yourself that you donโ€™t need to change.

TAKE ACTION: Set a reminder on your phone or calendar to reread this list on this day one year from now to remember all of the ways that you do love yourself and are proud of who you are!
