I've got mine printed out and I'm waiting to color them later. Mine won't be exactly round as I picked a couple that aren't perfectly round and I don't want to even try to cut them out. So they'll be on square paper!! Also, please make sure if you mail them in a cardboard envie so they don't get messed up.

user3165 04/12/2007 #

Yes, cardboard envie or some kind of protection. We don't want our mandalas mangled! -mer

CDs are 4.5" in diameter, and can be mailed in a cardboard cd mailer safely. I often alter them to make different things--all those useless AOL cds and other ISP offerings--altering them is a good way to keep them out of the landfills!

Meant to share this site earlier... A bit more explanation of what a mandala is... http://www.mandalaproject.org/What/Index.html

P.S. The gallery on that site is amazing.

Stacia in NM, Rebecca in AR, and Jessica in MA, your mandalas are being posted today!

Has anyone received yet?

CajunLady 05/12/2007 #

I recieved a mandala from someone..not sure who it is because the addy is covered up. But all that I recieved was a decorated mandala...by itself. Not in an envie. Just a messed up mandala with a huge $.13 postage sticker on it. I wish people would be more careful when sending stuff out like this. This is something that should not have been sent like a postcard.

joanandemma 05/13/2007 #

I received an ATC with a pretty mandala on it.

SueFitz 05/14/2007 #

I got 3 lovely ones form Mary over the weekend. Something to aspire to.

SummerLion 05/17/2007 #

Mandalas on their way to joanandemma, Janet Burns and stacia318. Hope you like them!

I did take pix, but can't find them after uploading to my computer. Duh. Will post if I ever do...

SummerLion 05/21/2007 #

I found the pix. But now I'm a bit hesitant to post them. Somebody else go firsr? (Also, I've never done this... It seems to be geared towards posting pix of what you've received, not what you sent.)

Lunaria 05/24/2007 #

ok, I posted one, but learned in the process that you have to use a file uder 400 pixels or it comes out ridiculously huge in the gallery.

SummerLion 05/25/2007 #

Wow! That is so lovely. The second image is easier to view, but I liked seeing all the detail in the paper, so enjoyed the big file, too.
