Hey guys,

this is the first Swap I am creating and I am kinda nervous. So when there is something missing in my description - please feel free to ask.

Ever since I am a Manga and Anime Lover I thought it be cool to have more Penpals with this same interests.

If you join this swap you'll have to write minimum a one page letter. It doesn't matter what you write (even though its something mean) but I is always nice to tell something about yourself, may add a Anime/Manga recommendation. And ask questions so your swap partner have a good base to answer :).

Also add minimum 2 goodies from the following list

  • a sticker sheet or minimum 5 Stickers
  • a postcard
  • a bookmark
  • 3 washi tape samples
  • tea
  • paper clips
  • sticky note pad

Everyone with a rating higher that 4.5 is welcome. Newbies can be in this swap, too if they have filled out their profile.

Sounds like something right up my alley!

@fraumeln will you angel if needed?

lovelybianca 06/ 7/2020 #

Hi I’m new to this site, I was wondering how do I exactly do this if I’m interested? We have the same interest and I’ve been looking for someone with the same interest as me for a while.

Shion 06/10/2020 #

Im also new! I love manga and anime too. And was wondering if the stickers would have to be anime released? Just because I have lots of cute like flowers, pastel themed stickers but nothing really Otaku related

fraumeln 06/13/2020 #

@nushkinathan what do you mean with angel?

@lovelybianca you just have to write a letter and add two types of goodies and sent it to your partner :)

@shion no the goodies doesn’t have to be anime related. This seap is for people who wants to be penpals with other who habe sinilar interests :)

@fraumeln angelling means : if someone doesn’t send their swap - you will send one to the partner who didnt receive anything. —————— —————— —————— If you allow new swappers to join your swap - there is a high chance of a few swapper not receiving anything. Especially in the « kawaii » community, many people are flaking (not sending anything) . So usually if you allow « anyone » with no rating or only few ratings , the organisator of the swap Angels for the people who didnt receive - because its your choice to allow risky swappers in your swap.

@ileimgruber thanks for letting me know :) If never anyone let newbies in they wouldn’t have a chance to swap, So I did. But I definitely will check profiles. I understand those worries. And if really anyone doesn’t receive anything first of all a message to the sender would be good and if there is no reaction at all I am the least one not to talk with. But I could get flaked, too. That‘s the reason I would say circumstances decide about that :)

Hi, I’m new to this so not really sure how this works. I joined the swap so I was wondering where or how do I find out where I’m sending the letter to or who I’ll be sending it to? Is the determined the next day of final sign up day?

fraumeln 06/19/2020 #

Hey @itslikelykim You see who you have to write after joining date (so probably ob june 21st) It‘s determined june 30th so this is the last day you gotta sent

Itslikelykim 06/19/2020 #

@fraumeln oh okay thank you so much. One more question: are we able to send the letter before June 30? Or most is be sent out that exact day

fraumeln 06/19/2020 #

@itslikelykim yes, you can set it before :) june 30th is just the latest sending date
