Description:

I have been doing these color fat 1/4 swaps monthly and really love them. There are several regular swappers and we are always open for new ones to join in the fun, too. Since I love to sew, I thought why not make it a quilter's fat quarter color swap theme. I see a lot of swaps for yarn out there and also just for colors, but none for those cute little fat quarters we all see at the material shops. You can use them to make quilts, hats, purses, doll clothes, or anything that takes about 1/4 yd of material. Approx: 18" x 22"

We are on swap #21 in the new year 2009 and it will be for "Easter" colors, anything that makes you think of pale blue, light pink, or lavender. It can be just plain "Easter "colors, or light blue, light pink, or lavender, bunnies or chicks, any themed print or plain colors for the month of April this time, since it is "Easter" month I thought it would be appropriate as a theme and you can choose any "Easter" print theme or plain colors designs. These swaps are fun and I love doing them.

This swap will be all about "Easter" colors and prints. That means any material as long as it has a "Easter" theme or pale colors in blue, pink, or lavender are in your fat 1/4.

This is an open swap to overseas and USA.

You will have one partner to send to.

Send:

  1. 4 fat quarters in "Easter" theme or light blue, pink, or lavender colors
  2. "pale blue, pink, or lavender" colored thread
  3. "Easter" themed or plain colored note cards/ journal/ stationery
  4. "Easter" themed or plain colored surprise gift

Make your package go together....

The fat 1/4 can be solid, prints, dots, stripes, or any pattern as long as they include pink colors or the "Easter" theme or light blue, pink, or lavender.

You should send a package that keeps true to the "Easter" prints or pale blue, pink, or lavender colored theme as much as possible and is worth at least $15-$20 (pre-postage). If you wish to substitute other items for #2 and #3 that is ok as long as it is something to do with sewing and the package theme color or colors.

Please note that I have added a Flickr page to post your photos and Thank-you for all your packages received. See the site address above.

Look at your partners profile and include extra items such as notions, buttons, stitckers, needles, pins,a pattern, bias trim, ribbon, lace,or any other item you think in prints that would be nice to receive. This can be an inexpensive mailing package. That is why it will be fun.

Please have a rating of 4.75 and zero no sends. Newbies are welcome; please have a well filled out profile and email me BEFORE you join. Otherwise I will delete you from the swap!!

Lastly, please rate your partner accordingly. When you receive your swap, rating them is a great way to let them know you received it.

If you have not received your swap in a timely manner, please email me and I will try to assist you in conacting your partner.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this swap.

Happy Swapping!

I'd love to join but do not celebrate Easter. Can I add a comment to incorporate the colors in my swap but not to send Easter fabric?

i signed up and would prefer if my partner would send me items based on the colors because I do not celebrate Easter. Thank you in advance :)

I do not celebrate Easter either, so I would appreciate my partner to send items based on the colors and not the holiday.

I prefer pastel colors not Easter fabric since Easter will be over. Thank you.

I would also prefer pastel colors instead of Easter fabric....thanks

I would rather not have Easter fabric since the holiday has passed. Any spring colors would be wonderful for me!
