That seems rather large. I think that a pint jar would be better. You'd be surprised at how much stuff you can get into a pint jar!! I just did a 6oz baby food jar with a Dotee in it and got loads of other stuff in there as well. A pint would be a lot less expensive to mail. JMHO. Mary

Would love to join this swap but I agree that you can get ALOT in a pint jar and MUCH cheaper to mail....

Yes, agree with above--it's on my watchlist, and will join if changed to a smaller jar. It's a great idea for a swap!

I have never made a dotee doll before, but am kinda interested in learning how. They are so cute and I think my granddaughter would love them!! However, I agree with ya'll. A quart jar if totally packed could be pretty heavy and cost a good bit to send. I'll have to give this one some thought.

If everyone feels that a smaller jar should be used than that is fine. I have gotten some messages on this and if everyone feels that a smaller jar or an extended swap deadline would encourage more participants to sign up then I will certainly go ahead and change those things. I thought 1qt would be ok to send but considering all that is involved I might have to re-think that. Let me know if you want to change things.

Thank you so much for changing to a smaller jar! I am joining as soon as I clear up a spot on my board. I am excited about this swap. This will be loads of fun. Mary
