Description:

One morning, Mrs. Wallis set the girls to darning the household bed linens that had holes snagged or pulled and in need of repair. Druscilla happily applied her nimble fingers and accomplished several items in the hour, Cilla keeping her workbag in good order. Lucinda on the other hand, had quite a job of finding the right thread for her task. Spending the first half hour seeking the right thickness linen to complete her darning. Lucy was a rather messy worker, and usually tossed her threads in a hurry without taking care of the placement in her workbag. Inside it, there lay a tangle of the finest pale silken strands; unravelled embroidery cottons, and knotted linen skeins to which she could not ascertain the start or finish to ply her needle. Leandrea exasperated, looked at the calamity before the girl and ordered her to go to Molly’s Variety store and purchase herself a decent thread keep to house the distress in her hands, & undo the headache remaining in the workbag, by nights end.

To this end... and for the swap requirements, we will be making our own thread keeps to house our loose embroidery cottons and other threads. You will make one for yourself and take a photograph of your finished Thread Keep, and send that image in an email to your partner.

Please note, this is an EMAIL swap. You will have ONE partner.
