In this series, each month, we will create mail art inspired by a Mythical Creature.

You decide what type of mail art you want to send. Examples include (but are not limited to): handmade postcard, ATC, 2 ATC Coins, altered file folder, decorated envelope w/tuck in, bookmark, 4 inchies or 2 twinchies, zines, altered rolo's, digital masterpieces, naked mail (items mailed without packaging them first).

If sending in an envelope, please decorate the envelope or send in a clear plastic sleeve. Postcards may be any size. Please include artist info on ATC's and any other art you make.

September's Creature: Serpertine Creatures

I'm leaving the theme broad, so you can pick which one you would like to be inspired by.....some examples include: Loch Ness Monster often referred to as Nessie, Tessie in Lake Tahoe, Chessie of the Chesapeake Bay, Cressie in Canada, Ogopogo, Altamaha, the Swedish Storsjรถodjuret, the Icelandic Lagarfljรณtsormurinn or Champ(y) from Lake Champlain.....and many more serpentine like monsters.

Here are some Loch Ness examples.

Lastly, please include your swap and user info in your swap. And, please rate your partner so they know you received the item they made for you.

I plan to keep this series going in to next year as there are still so many wonderful creatures to examine in our art.....but, if anyone has a favorite...please list it/them below so I can make sure I include them in my list.
