Description:

I'm a procrastinator - I'm not happy about it, but I certainly can't be anything but honest about it. You'd see the evidence if you ever came to my house unexpectedly. And, if you're invited, I'm in a flurry of activity for a couple of days before you arrive - and don't look behind closed doors!

This swap will, hopefully, give me (and you) the boost to get a few (or a lot of) things done. I hope to keep posting it until I'm happy with my home, and myself. That might be a long time. You're welcome to jump in, and off, this wagon whenever you want.

So, the idea is:

  1. think about what you want to accomplish
  2. set a timer for 15 minutes
  3. start!

Now, I know you know that once you get started on something, you tend to keep going; go ahead and keep at it. But, don't let that discourage you to do it again. If it does, then make yourself STOP after the 15 minutes. You know you'll have another 15 minutes the next time.

For this swap, you don't have to do it every day - but you do have to do it FOUR days out of 7. Fifteen minutes a day for 4 days. They don't have to be in a row; take the 3 days off whenever you want, or need to.

So many things you can do in 15 minutes - what do YOU need to do?

Get a sheet of paper and make a list of the things you'd like to accomplish, 15 minutes at a time. I've made up a sheet to use - if you'd like a copy, please pm me your email address and I'd be happy to share it.

Once the swap starts (you can start right now, if you want), write down the date and put a check mark for every 15 minutes you work at something, or write down what you did - don't forget the timer.

At the end of the week, send it off to your partners via bcc. Let them know what you did and, if you like, how you felt when it was done.

I hope everyone who joins finds this cathartic and will want to join us in the next one. But, please feel free to join at any time!
