Update The Swappers have spoken, and I have listened. This is now a USA-only regional swap.

I’ve seen a few cat-themed journal swaps on here, but there hasn’t been one in awhile and it seems likely that I’m not the only one out there with an unfinished Catbook. Let’s do something about that, shall we?

For this swap you will send one journal to one partner. It can be any size or shape, hand-made or store-bought. Smaller is probably better since I’m making this International, but feel free to send what you have as long as it’s got kitties in it.

If you’re interested in starting a new Catbook, just think of this as a normal journal swap... but with cats. Get a small notebook, decorate the cover with feline imagery, and fill a few pages with cat-related things. Write the swap name and your return address on the inside cover, and off you go!

If there’s enough interest, I’ll post more Catbook swaps in the future so we can all get our fill of kitty content.

I don't understand exactly your swap: do we have to fill all the pages in the book, or only a few and leave the rest for the partner to fill? If I understand well, we're free to do anything we want in the journal? Art journal pages, photos, writing etc...?

You can fill in as many pages as you want, as long as the cover is decorated and you’ve got at least one page started. All media are acceptable, as long as the entries are cat-themed.

I am interested but when I make journals they often get big and expensive to ship overseas. I would be interested in a private swap for domestic mail.

I agree with @sequoia183

I agree with @sequoia183 too - I love this swap idea but for me personally it would probably have to be domestic

I am with the others. I would join a domestic one, and I'm happy to do a private swap.

I love this idea <3

It's really a pity that it's now regional, us only. As an international swapper, it can be really frustrating to see so many US only swaps. I know your shipping costs are expensive but it often makes me feel swap bot is a little American community where internationnal swappers aren't always accepted...

Fairylover, I originally had it as an international swap but no one was willing to join unless I made it US only. Maybe next time I’ll make it international and it can be just us? Message me and we can try to work things out.

fairylover i am sending a 20 page photo book and a 20 page notebook to my friend in poland from usa and its $25! thats A LOT for postage. I am sorry you feel that way about swap-bot. Its the USPS that is making hard for the international postage.

Can we get these numbered in the future? to help keep track
