A postcard or notecard or pretty stationary with one random question and your answer to it.

You will have two partners.

Visit Random Question Generator at:

and receive your question.

On a paper of your choosing from above, write out the question and answer the question honestly. Ideally, your answer would be a paragraph or two in length. Sometimes this is hard, I know, but your answer should be more than a line or two please. (Neat, legible hand writing or typed/computer printed is acceptable)

If the question is too personal or irrelevant, it's OK for you to choose another one. Just hit "next question" within the generator.

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile. A well filled profile is one I have to scroll down the page to read. (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). Because of delivery issues, multi-profiler/flaker concerns, and site policies I require real names. If you join a swap of mine with a fake name or no last name, you will be asked to fix it.

No recent/unexplained low ratings - This means message me with an explanation why you have a 1 or 3. PLEASE check out my profile page and read the "About Swaps I Host" section for an in-depth explanation of my swap rules.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. I have been told that swap hosts have 7 days after the sign up date to assign partners. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

My mail was slow before the pandemic and it is still even slower now. And very erratic.

I mailed an envelope to Ohio and they got it within 2 days. I waited 17 days for an invitation from a town about 25 miles from me.

Please be patient when receiving or sending to me.

Good idea but don't understand what you mean by "fake" name or you need a last name too. Isn't a profile name enough? The only way I get a last name in from the return address of who sent something to me in a swap. .

@ladydy5 - No your "real" name needs to be in the address.

If you had:

ladydy5 123 Main St Anywhere, PD 12345

as your address, they you would be asked to put your real name in, not your swap-bot ID.

So many times in my swapping years, I have tried to send something home that doesn't have a real name. It comes back to me. So then I'm out on postage, can't find what the real name is and end up throwing it away because I don't want to hang onto it for who knows how long until a real name shows up somewhere.

Also I've had the problem with just a first name. Especially if it's a big city.

AND your family and close friends may know you by Pookie, but I'm pretty sure the postal people do not.

I feel if you're not comfortable using your real name then maybe swapping isn't for you.

my mail has been slow and sporadic. Please let me know if you don't receive, however, in each case I have re-sent ASAP and the original surfaces soon after.
