Description:

Hello everyone!

This swap type has been done by @laurad83 @PrettyAlice and @cmalaina and it seems they have been stopped. So, in an effort to get these notebooks circulating again, I am starting more swaps! (swap info copied from @cmalaina

If you already have a notebook, use this swap to start passing them on again!

For anyone new to traveling notebooks and this swap series here's how it goes:

To start, find a small soft cover book about A5 size (5x7 inches). Something like a travel notebook inserts with about 30 pages should work perfectly. The book should not be too thick or heavy and please no spiral books. Homemade notebooks are OK! Think about the weight of the book and the cost of sending it. Keep in mind and be considerate to others who will have to pay for your notebook to be shipped each round.

The first person starting the book will decorate the cover however they choose, wallpaper, wrapping paper, anything you like.

Inside the front cover write your name, address (so the book is returned when it is full) swap name and your swap-bot username.

Fill out two full pages in the notebook with an introductory letter, an entry about your day, where you're from, the weather, or whatever you'd like. Add photos, stickers, washi tape, drawings, etc, if you wish. I've seen A-Z lists on someone describing themselves, Netflix show rating lists, funny jokes, favorite quotes, collages. Add anything you would like to see someone else do. Be creative! Use only pens that do not bleed onto the next page, please. Don't forget to date your entry. You may add something separate for your partner if you wish, a pen pal intro letter or something else related to their likes, but you don't have to. Also, write your swapbot ID so you can be rated.

When you are done with your pages, send the book onto your partner.

That partner will then wait for the next swap in this series and fill out their pages and send on to their partner and so on.

Once the book is full, the last person to write in the book will send it to the owner of the book (as stated on the inside cover).

At the end when your book is returned to you, you will have a book full of stories and entries from all over the world!

Please allow plenty of time to receive and send the book. This swap will take commitment to subsequent swaps in this series. If you don't plan on continuing with later swaps please don't join. I'm sorry but this is supposed to be fun.

Do not worry if you miss a round while waiting to receive a notebook. It matters more that you join rounds in order to get a partner and be able to send notebooks on.

If you have any questions or concerns, please message me!

Should we fill 2 pages or 2 sheets? :) thank you

@inesrv I'm not really sure what you mean. I would say fill out two pages. Either front, and back side, or a two page spread. and it is totally okay if you do more! I find two pages leaves enough room to write a note, do a collage, or add something special. You want to do at least 2 pages so the journal doesn't take forever to fill up. I hope this answers your question!
