Description:

I watch so many youtube videos showing different junk journal techniques. Some of them are kinda long, yet show a very simple technique - it made me think, "I wish I just had templates of a bunch of techniques." So I decided to have a swap!

This swap gives us a chance to create, use and share many junk journal ideas and techniques. And we will spoil our partners by checking their profile and sending them 4 items to use in their own journals.

Requirements:

  • Make a junk journal base of book pages, copy paper, scrapbook paper etc.

  • It can be very simple, but should have a card stock weight or heavier cover, and should be labelled "Junk Journal Sampler"

  • Minimum 9 folded pages (ie 18 pages), COVERED with techniques

  • Write a little explanatory note as needed for the techniques, such as listing the materials, inspiration, youtube resource, etc.

  • Add a template as applies. This means, if you are showing a sample of a specific pocket, glue the pocket onto a page, but also provide a template with any needed instructions (such as fold here first, etc)

  • Check your partner's profile and send them 4 items they can use in their own journal. It can be items you made such as pocket, tags or can be supplies such as ephemera, washi, paper napkin, etc.

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
