Spring it Forward...

I'm looking forward to Spring.... I love the bright colors, the fresh green grass, flowers are blooming, butterflies are fluttering, birds are singing and my sewing machine will be humming. Let's hop to it and have a FUN scavenger hunt.

Ready... set... Scavenge for:

1 FQ or larger of fabric with an Easter icon ie: bunny, jelly beans, sheep/lamb, chicks, and/or tulips.

1 Spool of Spring colored thread.

1 Yard of Embellishment (ie: fibers, ribbon, ric rac, binding)

1 Card of at least 4 buttons -OR- a Package of Spring/Easter themed/colored buttons.

1 Handmade "by YOU" item. (brooch, coasters, tea cozy, felt or fabric needle holder, pin cushion, shelf sitters, bowl fillers, or fabric napkins.)

1 "Easter" basket goody to be placed in ONE plastic egg. Does NOT have to be a food/sweet item. This can be a couple of tea bags, pair of earrings, or other small Easter basket "filler". If you choose to send a packet of notecards and it does NOT fit in the plastic egg- this will be an acceptable "Easter" basket goody. It's the thought that counts.

I'm giving plenty of time to assemble all the goodies. I'd like for everyone to be able to have their packages in their hands BY Easter Sunday. Please get to know your partners and check their profiles for allergies and color/style preferences. Some people prefer pastels, others prefer bright Spring colors. Even though this is Senders choice... it would be nice to keep your partners in mind and send them something they can use or would like.

PLEASE leave a note on each item so that your partner knows which category it relates to.

Who can Join: Anyone with a rating of 4.8 or higher and in good standing in the Fabric Art Divas group. No 3's within the last 3 months, No recent no-sends and No 1's. If you feel you've been rated unfairly- feel free to PM me, just be honest! Must have completed at least 10 mail swaps- NOT including email, letter swaps or post card swaps. I will check profiles carefully and reserve the right to ban as needed. Only serious swappers please. Sorry No newbies!
