Description:

We tried this last year and it wasn’t a go, so I thought we’d give it another try! I will list the directions below in hopes it will be easy to understand how to do this. Here we go:

Using an 8 1/2” x 11” piece of card stock or double sided scrapbook paper, fold the paper into thirds. Each fold will be a little over 3 1/2”.

Lift up the fold on top and this will be the flap to cover your wallet. This will be covered later with Christmas paper and embellishments in the front of the flap.

The bottom portion will be the pocket part of the wallet. On each side of the folded part, glue or sew the sides of the pocket. Sew up to the fold of the top flap. You should have a pocket that will hold paper and emphmera.

The back and front of the pocket part will be decorated with Christmas scrapbook paper using glue sparingly and neatly.

The flap or the fold over part will be decorated on the inside and top of the flap. The fold over part will be decorated with lace or embellishments to creat a lovely wallet for journals or inclosures.

The wallet should include when finished, paper emphera, pretty vintage tags, papers to be used in projects. Whatever you would like to include.

Hope this helps and have fun!!
