Description:

Nearly everyone who has a polaroid camera has probably taken some really bad photos on accident with it. Have any of those blurry, over-exposed, or just generally BAD polaroids? Great! Do you also love cryptids, folkloric, mythological, and/or paranormal beings? Fantastic. This is the swap for you.

The idea is to take a really bad polaroid and label it as a cryptid encounter. For instance you could label a polaroid as "Mothman Sighting" and include a date, time, and/or place. Don't have a polaroid but still want to participate? That's fine too! Just send off a picture of a creepy place, object, or anything just weird. You can label these photos as a place where a cryptid or ghost is frequently sighted, or label an object as a haunted or curse object. The possibilities are endless.

Now here's the fun part. You must include a short creative fiction write-up of how you came to take the photo of the cryptid or ghost, place, or object (or if you have any pictures of real life spooky things, you can also write about that if you choose). You should also provide an explanation of what the cryptid, ghost, place, or object in the photo is, what it's famous for, and what sort of things it does.

Requirements:

-You must send either a bad polaroid or a photo of a spooky place or object

-You should label your polaroids as a cryptid encounter. For instance you could label a polaroid as "Mothman Sighting" and include a date, time, and/or place. If you do not have a polaroid camera, include a scrap of paper as the label for your photo.

-You must include a short creative fiction write-up of how you came to take the photo of the cryptid or ghost, place, or object (or if you have any pictures of real life spooky things, you can also write about that if you choose).

-You must provide an explanation of what the cryptid, ghost, place, or object in the photo is, what it's famous for, and what sort of things it does.

-Please rate you partners when you receive your swap and include a nice comment.
