With so many FUN & confusing Idioms around the world…let’s swap our favorites!


Italy – Do the donuts without holes also taste delicious? ‘Non Tutte Le Ciambelle Riescono Col Buco/Not all doughnuts come out with a hole’

France - Is it possible to drown a fish? ‘Noyer Le Poisson/Drown the Fish’

America - Why the love/hate relationship with bridges? ‘Build Bridges’ & ‘Burn Bridges’

Germany - Why is everyone asking me if I have a pet bird? ‘Einen Vogel Haben/to have a bird’

We all have them & this list could go on forever!
