Description:

This year Library and Information Week is between May 17 - 23. The theme is Adventures in Time and Space.

It's a whole week of library fun and I wanted to create a swap to share that library love with you all (and commemorate an awesome week).

For this swap, you'll have one partner and you're going to write them a short letter noting a book you're currently reading or just finished and you're going to answer or do one (or more) of the things listed below:

  • Did you watch any of the Space Storytime videos from the past year?

  • Do you know what National Simultaneous Storytime is? If yes, what is the book for this year called? If no, do you think you'd like to get involved?

  • Create a plan for a week to get kids engaged in any form of bookish and technology-centred activities.

  • What adventures do you remember having at the library?

  • Create a mini-story that relates to the adventures in space and time theme.

  • What book took you on an adventure you love?

  • What technology do you think could improve reading, learning, engaging, and enhancing everyday things?

  • Note/list any services, events, or cool things your library does.

  • What book do you like that was set around space? (note: this can be any genre. So a bibliography from about an astronaut, a sci-fi thriller, or anything that has space as the main idea)

  • Anything else you'd like to mention that relates to the theme, libraries, books, technology, or the like.

Note: the letter can be any length just as long as you follow the instructions.

If you have any questions, send me a message!
