Notecards in a envelope swap

In English it would be better to say ‘in an envelope’. Not ‘into an envelope’. The way you wrote it made me think you might have meant using the card to make an envelope.

A newbie question for the group: How can the notecards be mailed so they do not bend so as not to incur additional postage? Mailings in those rigid envelopes (that do not bend) are quite pricey, especially since I will be sending many over the course of my swap-bot career.

Notecards? like index card type or folded notecards? I just want to be sure

Notecards refers to folded cards, like blank greeting cards.

VitaLynne, are you trying to make your envelope more sturdy? If so, cut a piece of cardboard from a cereal box (or similar weight) just smaller than the envelope. Just slide it in with the notecards. It should still be under the weight for the price of a single stamp, but add the extra support. I don't usually need to add anything extra though for a plain notecard in an envelope.

I get charged extra to mail things in an envelope if they are too rigid and do not bend in the postal machines. Unmachinable requires extra postage. At least my post office charges more for those kind.

Are you including the envelopes for each of the 3 notecards?

Thanks for correcting me. @Vitalynne I love @Wambatty idea. @Duchessof Africa I meant those folded cards that come blanck, with no message written inside. @ Cellolady, Here in my country You have to pay extra too, if there' something more than just two pages and a couple flat things. @Wambatty Yes, I meant including the envelopes.
