I've tried this kind of swap once and it was pretty fun. Let's give it a go with a Twilight theme :) You will send your partner supplies & they will make you 1 Twilight ATC. This is a fun way to see what someone would do with your craft supplies and to challenge yourself to make something that is maybe outside your normal style :) Send your assigned partner a small package of paper, embellishments, images, text etc. They will then make you an ATC from the items you've sent (they get to keep any remaining items that they didnΓ’β¬β’t use). Include a self-addressed envelope so that they can mail you back the completed ATC. You do not need to mail glue or anything like that, just items to go on the ATC and the card stock (or whatever you use for your ATC backs) cut to 2 ΓΒ½ x 3 ΓΒ½ inches. Here's the challenging part... you can only use the items they mail you on the ATC you create. Nothing from your own stash. When you receive your supplies please rate your partner, then when your partner receives her ATC from you she will leave a comment on your profile rating your card. The supplies must be sent by March 25th. The ATC needs to be mailed back to your partner by April 8th. When you are done be sure to upload a picture of your swap to our new Flickr group so everyone can see your cool creation!!! Twilighters United **********Purekitte had a great idea that she posted in the discussion section- "I just had a thought... I am going to make a card using the same materials that I am sending to my partner... this way, when my partner sends me the one they made using the supplies I am going to send them the one I made back! This would be fun to see the difference between the two :)". I think it would be great for everyone to do this, but since it was not in the original swap description it is not mandatory. |
