Description:

It's soon spring and time to start making a few handmade prayer flags to hang in the garden.

From the website: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/make-a-prayer-flag-how-to.html "Spring is here, and the winds of change are blowing; the sky fills with birds and returning life is everywhere. In this season of airy expansiveness and hope, we can send out our wishes for peace, healing, and harmony on the winds with a simple prayer flag, inspired by a traditional Tibetan Buddhist practice. Here’s how to make a prayer flag."

For this swap, you will make 4 prayer flags.

One for each partner. Please make them approximately 6" x 9", unless your partner specifies otherwise. You may post here, if you have specific requests for the size of the flag you'd like (so it matches the others you already may have).

I prefer cotton fabric, but you may specify here if you prefer another type of fabric. Decorate these creatively... with fabric paint, beads, buttons, or ribbons.

You may even post here if you have a specific prayer or wish you'd like on the flag you receive.

This is INTERNATIONAL, as one flag won't weight very much for mailing/postage

I will check ratings before assigning partners. No recent no-sends or lower than 4.5, unless you PM me to explain.

It's never occurred to me to make my own prayer flags!! Thanks so much for this, even just for me to get inspired by this concept!
