5 Goodie Bags #2

Goodie bags for this swap are swap items that get passed between penpals in the mail. They're not party treat bags.

Examples of goodie bags that you can make to swap with your pen pals. Some ideas for themed bags: memo sheet bag, tea bag, washi bag, stickersheet bag, postcard bag, cat bag, butterfly bag, pink bag etc.

Each bag has an address of who it's made FOR and who BY (you can make it for yourself, too). When the bag is full, it will be mailed to the FOR person. Each bag also has some space for signers, usually 5-8 signers before it will be sent home.

Usually each signer is allowed to take 1-2 items from the bag and keep it for themselves. Then they add 3-5 items to the bag. Each bag must have rules on it (how many to take/add, how many signers.)

Examples of things to put in a goodie bag: memos, stickers, various flat stationery, craft paper, small envelopes, washi samples, drink bags, small embellishments, ribbons, etc.! Please only add nice things, things you'd like to receive yourself.

Hi there, I’m new to this type of swap, but would love to join. Can someone please explain how this works? (I’m not 100% clear on the comments in the discussion - I’m sorry!) What is a signer or a homer? Thank you so much for your help!

@LoveCyn I tried my best to explain up there. Goodie bags, for purposes of this swap, are items that you swap with your penpals or swappers via snail mail. Each bag will go through several people's hands, and each will sign the bag and pass it on to their penpal.

It's a pass-through swap item, along with friendship books, label bags etc. If you're not familiar with any of those maybe one of your penpals could get you started.
