The aim of this swap is to put together seven filled envelopes to send to your partner with the idea that if they were having a bad day they could open one and have a nice surprise to cheer them up. I figure seven envelopes covers a really bad week. You'll send all seven envelopes in one bigger envelope (to keep down postage costs and so that your partner can open them when they want). Each of the 7 envelopes should be a regular letter-sized envelope (A6 or similar) have something different in. That said, if you want to use larger envelopes then go for it. If you want to label the envelopes, don't say exactly what the contents are - we want to keep the element of surprise - but you could say things along the lines of "something to read" or "something to do". Vagueness is good, people! Ideas for fillings include (but are by no means limited to):
Get the idea? Although this should work out as a relatively low-cost swap, it's important to really make an effort to put together a great selection of things that are suitable for your partner, so make sure you read through their profile to get some ideas. To join this swap you must have a very well filled out profile. Newbies are welcome if they contact me first (there's a 'contact' link next to my name at the top of the swap). Otherwise you must have no 1-ratings ever (although I'm willing to make exceptions if you've been rating unfairly at some point - just let me know what happened), and no 3-ratings in the past 3 months (unless you have a very good explanation). I reserve the right to ban problem swappers. Any questions, let me know. |
