Description:
In the spirit of Spring, I thought it would be fun to make a dotee wearing an apron. It could be an apron for cooking, cleaning, crafting, carpentry, etc. The apron should have a pocket with something in it that represents what kind of apron it is. The apron should be made out of cotton and the dotee should be the usual 3-5" not including hanger and tail. Participants should have a rating of 4.8 or above and no 1's or no sends in the last 6 months (I will check profiles). If you think you have been rated unfairly I will consider on a case by case basis. Please do not sign up if you cannot fully commit to it. I will not be able to angel this swap. Have fun and think outside the box!

Hmmmm, this sounds fun. I'll see if I can come up with an apron with a pocket before I sign up, though.

what is a dotee? I would love to signup , I am a newbie . Is it ok for me to sign up?

I expect the coordinator for this swap has pm'd you. But just in case, a dotee is a little handmade doll with no legs or arms. It has a hanger at the top of the head and a tail that hangs down. If you search flickr for dotees, you will see lots.

Yay! I figured it out... I crocheted the pocket and sewed it on some lace. Looks super cool and by then I may have made a better one. I won't tell what's in her pocket, though. ;-)
