Since I forgot to post last night when I created this swap, here's some info to help my partner:

I like mystery, thriller, young adult, some horror, some chick lit, anything funny, anything dramatic. Some of my favorite authors are Christopher Pike, Francesca Lia Block, V.C. Andrews, Laurell K Hamilton, Jodi Picoult, James Patterson, JK Rowling, Cate Tiernan, Alice Hoffman to name a few. I just started getting into Anita Shreve. The only romance I read is Madeline Baker and her alter ego Amanda Ashley. If you need any more help, or have questions, please let me know!

Please no chick lit, mysteries or romances. Nonfiction would be better than fiction [I'm majorly picky] if nonfiction, no self-help [too old to even want to change and I know I'm not going to get rich quick]. That does leave a ton of possible books. I prefer fiction written by people from other countries - other cultures fascinate me.

Please no romances (especially Harlequin romances! Ugh), thrillers, mysteries (unless a mystery anthology). I love women authors for fiction, books on magic and tarot, and how to books on paper arts.

Not fond of classics, nonfiction, romance, or chic lit. Adore satire comedy, horror (have read all of Koontz, Clive Barker, and King books), thought provoking books (started reading Jodi Picoult, though I haven't yet read any of her early works), off the wall humor/ fiction, a little science fiction. Some of my favorite authors can be found on my myspace page, which should be linked to my profile.

Hi...Sorry I didn't post my list sooner...

I love Hunter S. Thompson, Anais Nin, Zelda Fitzgerald, Dorthy Parker, Charles Bukowski...

I read mostly biographies, classic erotica, beat writers, and vampire books...

I hope that this helps my partner.

Carole/ Fiberjunkie -- I sent your books & stuff today but it was pretty heavy so it went media rate so it will take a few days longer than otherwise. But it's on the way.
