Description: | |
This swap was inspired by a swap I sent recently and the envelope was filled with stamps as I left my wallet at home and had no money. To send a 72 cent letter I used the1, cent, 3 cent, 10 cent, 17 cent and 27 cent postage I had with me. For this swap it's simple you will have 2 swap partners. Send each swap partner a short note or card. Simple, the fun part is that you have to use at least 4 different denominations of postage on the envelope. The more the merrier! For example to send a 1st class letter in the US it costs 42 cents. Instead of (1) 42 cent stamp you could use (42) 1 cent stamps, or (14) 3 cent stamps. I can only imagine the look on postal employees faces when they see a letter with 42 stamps on it! As of now I will keep the swap international, unless I get feedback that it is not possible to do so due to various mail regulations. Most postage from the US going international is around 94 cents so it is a relatively inexpensive swap. Anyone with a 4.8 rating and higher can join, but you must contact me if you have more than 1 no sends. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile, which I will check. Please NO Flakers, I will try to angel any no sends. Current denominations of US postage stamps available are: 1 cent, 2 cent, 3 cent, 4 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 17 cent, 27 cent, 41 cent, 42 cent, 59 cent, 60 cent, 62 cent, 63 cent, 72 cent, 75 cent ,80 cent, 84 cent, 94 cent Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. |
