I'm new to these captured fairy jars and want to get more acquainted with them! What better way than to have a swap! This is a beginner's swap meaning-you don't have to have done this technique before to join. This is going to be my first. This is different than a newbie swap as this is for experienced swappers, not newbies to the site. Take a glass spice jar-sorry no plastic jars-these little glass jars are under 13 oz. and able to ship 1st class. Use a 4 oz. by volume jar. Herbs usually weigh from 1.5 oz. to 2 oz. so the #'s on the jar aren't accurate. If in doubt, fill with water and pour into a measure and it should come out to 1/2 cup liquid. Create a theme. Captured 'fairy' theme here used loosely. Your captive can be an insect, animal, flower, etc. Either use your partner's profile as inspiration or make what you want. This is sender's choice. Since we are sending glass thru the mail, please wrap your jar securely insuring it's safe arrival. Swappers with 5 completed craft related swaps welcome. No recent or unexplained no-sends. Are these the same as the Fairy Jar Swap going on right now by another coordinator?

I just mention it because there's a good picture under the other swap, and that coordinator requires people to have completed 45 swaps....so, I am very intrigued by your swap if it's the same type of thing...

OK- I am in, I just googled Captured Fairy Jars, and they are just that, jars with a captive fairy. And I will love whatever is sent to me, but if it is a fairy jar I would like to see a fairy in it :)
