7 Deadly sins ATC swap *re-edited*
Swap Coordinator:Caker (contact)
Swap categories: Themed  Art  Artist Trading Card (ATC)
Number of people in swap:14
Location:Regional - USA and Canada
Type:None
Last day to signup/drop:March 26, 2009
Date items must be sent by:April 30, 2009
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

In this swap you will create 7 ATC's (artist trading cards) for 1 partners, so 7 ATC's in total. 1 of each design. ATC's should be about the size of a traditional playing card 2.5"x3.5"(for first timers). The theme is the 7 Deadly Sins: Greed, Lust, Envy, Anger, Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony.

It is NOT required to use words on your ATC's, design them however you like, just be sure that your recipients can tell which sin is which, and put a small label on the back. Please send out something nice, don't just slap stickers on and send.

To get an extra special heart rating you can make an additional card (or more than 1 if you'd like) using one of the 7 Heavenly Virtues which are: Humilty, Kindness, Abstinence, Chastity, Patience, Generosity, Dilligence

here are the Virtues and their opposites to use as an easy reference.

Humilty = Pride

Kindness = Envy

Abstinence = Gluttony

Chastity = Lust

Patience = Anger

Generosity = Greed

Dilligence = Sloth

This is a swap is open to US/Canada only. And is Open to all who would like to join, no unexplained 1/3/no sends,NO FLAKERS in the last 4 months, and any "newbies" please have a fully filled out profile. I reserve the right to ban anyone who I don't think is fit for this swap. And will be checking all profiles.

if you see a known flaker join please let me know, I'd rather lose one person then lots.

if you guys think 3 is too many partners let me know ill change to 2 or 1

i have always loved things related to 7 deadly sins (weird but i simply love it, read loads of books, watched movies around it and many many history channel things) But i do think 3 is to many. i hope you get more people who think the same thing. Please do not change your swap because of my thoughts, wait a little for more opnions. Will watch and start to work on these though!! get a few done earlier.

ok 2 partners. hopefully that will attract more people. 3 was too many

Just a suggestion, but eventhough you moved it to 2 partners, it is still 14 ATCs - I would make the length of time a teeny bit longer. I know when I had a 9 ATC swap it is a lot of work. :)

Hope that helps and you have more people sign up - it is a great sounding swap. :)

I agree! I'm really wanting to sign up.. but I have a lot of other swaps going on too and it doesn't seem like a lot of time. I have it on my watch though!

I have yet to find a fitting place to ask this question, however I hope someone here will be able to tell me. How is a ATC made? I guess I'm having trouble understanding how to decorate or finish it off. I have done a little googling but I haven't found much. thank you for any responces.

SkippyMom 03/13/2009 #

Google "images" for ATCs and you will get all kinds Ironic....they are 2.5 inch x 3.5 inch sturdy cardstock decorated anyway you want....

Also, whenever you check into SB you will see pics from flickr - click on any pic that resembles an ATC and you will get ideas...hope that helps....
