AS<3: Transparent envelope letter!

Transparent envelopes are not very common, but they are super fun and quite easy to make from velum or recycled plastic packaging, or to buy from some craft stores or online.

Think of this like a homemade postcard swap, except the collage/artwork goes inside the mailer!

For this swap we will write a 2+ page letter to our partners on any topics that we think they will enjoy. So it's okay to be real and honest and share your feelings but try not to make the whole letter about geopolitics or the health crisis.
Include your username and swap name on your letter.

We will fold the letter to fill a transparent mailing envelope (velum or plastic) and then attach/collage/draw/etc decoration to the outside of the folded letter so that it shows through the envelope.

Extras hidden inside the folded letter are welcome but not required.

Then add address label and postage stamps to the outside, make sure that the envelope is secured (I suggest clear tape over any seams and closures, especially if using velum which has a tendency to come unstuck) and post away!!

Important reminders:

• This swap is about having some creative fun and making somebody smile, not about being the best artist or crafter - feel free to branch out and try new techniques! Nobody will be judging you, just happy to hear from you.
• It's okay to do this whole project in an hour, or to spend a whole beautiful afternoon on it, but it's not okay to rate down because you 'worked harder' than your partner - not that I think anyone in this group would do that, we understand that everybody's situation is different and I absolutely love us for that.
• Single stamp postage is the goal here, flat mail is fast and fun.
• No rudeness, racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, what-about-ism, or religious discrimination, etc is allowed in any of my swaps - contact me if you need to discuss any hurtful or harmful content that you receive.
• No flaking of course, but I will angel if something goes wrong.
