Description:

Zentangle Border Work… Use a tangle tile 3.5 X 3.5, place a Zentangle border pattern around the of tile (leaving the middle open). Mail the tile to your Swap partner, who will finish the tile by adding a tangle or tangles inside the border.

This is a collaborative project. You will draw on a Zentangle tile but only finish the drawing half-way (add a border). You will then send it off to another person for him/her to complete it. In exchange, you will receive a tile to complete, too. Both you and the other person will then each keep the tile you have received.

• Before you send out your tile, include a note containing: A. your Swap Bot name, B. this swap’s title, C. a few lines to share with your partner, and D. a quick list of tangles used in your tile. • Send your tile and note in an envelope. • Remember to rate your partner when you receive your swap tile. • If you would like to share than post photos of the "before" and "after" of your tile at InstaTangle on Facebook.

Have you wondered, “How did the collaborative Swap tile look when finished?” I am always curious when I mail off a collaborative tile, how it turned out. I have a Facebook page to share Swap tile pictures with each other. Feel free to post past Swap, collaborative tiles and/or your own tile that you have created. Search ‘InstaTangle’ on Facebook to add your tiles and share with others.
If you have any questions, you can send me a message here or on Facebook.
