AMA: Everyday Ephemera Mail Art

It is time to use some of the stacks of everyday ephemera you have pilling up on your table. For this swap you will make your partner a piece of mail art that is decorated with everyday ephemera.

Ephemera is written and printed matter not intended to be kept. Examples include: junk mail, tickets, bus passes, used postage stamps, business cards, postcards, letters, brochures, flyers, labels, packaging, catalogues, greeting cards, menus, posters, photographs, stock certificates, pages from books etc. In short, it is things meant to be thrown away.

• You can make any type of mail art you would like.

• Use any media that you prefer.

• Postcards should be a minimum of 4 X 6 but can be larger. Larger may require additional postage.

• Postcards should be sent stamped and naked.

• If you make an ATC or an APC or Coin it needs to be put into a protective cover and then sent in a decorated envie.

• Include the name of the swap on the back of any ATC or APC or Coin.
