So you will send out a total of eighteen bags to two different people or did you mean you send out a total of six bags to two different people?

I think I understand. Each swapper leaves their three favorite teas in these comments. Once partners are assigned, you look at that person's tea preferences and send them three teabags of each. So if person A says "Black, Green, and Roobios" and Person B says "Mint, Orange and Chai" then you send one package to Person A containing 3 Black, 3 Green, and 3 Rooibos" (9 teas) and another package to Person B containing 3 Mint, 3 Orange, and 3 Chai (9 teas) for a total outlay of 18 teabags. Is the point of the swap to get your favorite tea or a "variety of tea"? The reason I ask is that I live in Korea. What we can get may not be a favorite for someone else (because maybe you've never even heard of this tea before) but I might think it's tasty or it might just be cool to get different teas from around the world (I have some from China and Japan as well). I might not even be able to join the swap because I'm new but I'm ever hopeful and have already been putting together a fun box...either way some clarification (favorite vs variety) is greatly appreciated in advance.

the point is to get variety of your favourite tea:)).If your parners has too specific wishes, you can talk to him about some options

My all time favorite teas are flower teas that bloom. Just can't help it they are just to cool to watch and I am very visual. I also love herbal blends,exotic teas with flower or spice, teas that change color or just smell heavenly. In straight tea I go black over green.You can't go wrong with me because what I don't drink my friends will enjoy from my tea basket. We are so nuts over cool teas that we have a tea party every Mid-summer. My tea buddieshave had so much fun sampling my swap teas.Different, unusual, variety is what I hope for.

Is this for high end teas purchased at special shops or can it be for speciality blends made by Lipton or the like?

I would say something in between, not really the special shop purchased but on the other hand try to not send the most common ones.

My favorites are jasmine, Earl Grey, and berry-flavored tea (real tea, not herbal).

I have 4 nice boxes here to choose from so hopefully wihen partners are assigned, I will be able to ussome of those. But if not, any excuse to go to Fresh Market, huh?
