Hello everyone! I'm getting on the reusable grocery bag bandwagon a little late, but it's better late than never! In this swap you will purchase TWO store-bought reusable grocery bags (generally $1-2 each) and send ONE each to your TWO different partners. This swap is NOT for homemade bags. Please buy bags from a store local to you, NOT a large chain store with bags that anyone can get anywhere. I'm trying to collect bags from around the country, bags I wouldn't be able to purchase myself here where I live. I don't need another Wal-Mart bag, thank you! EDITING TO ADD: My point in organizing this swap is to collect bags from cities or states I'd normally never have a chance to visit, meaning the city name or state would likely be printed on the bag somewhere (along with the store name, of course). It's my version of "armchair traveling"! USA only, please. Newbies are welcome with an informative, completed profile. Swappers with no-sends or other significant infractions will be banned. I'm willing to angel for one or two people but sincerely hope that that won't be necessary. If you have any questions, just ask. Thanks for joining my swap!

There ARE WalMarts in the NY area... just need a car to get to them and they're pretty far from me. Scary, huh? When I go on road trips I always stop at WalMart to drool over how cheap things are. Haha. When they put a Target in my area? Forget it. I almost keeled over from excitement =X

Sorry, MAT, I'm really trying to collect bags that I couldn't buy for myself. There would be no point in each of us sending the other a Wal-Mart bag!

I live in the Pacific Northwest so getting a bag from Winn Dixie would probably be pretty cool. Big chains that I wouldn't want (because there are lots of them here) are Target, Walmart, Safeway, Fred Meyer or Winco.

we have Target, Walmart, Albertsons, Smiths Groceries, Joann Fabrics, Fred Meyer, Winco in Idaho also, but no Winn Dixie or Trader Joe

I have Target, Price cutter, and WalMart, Have you guys seen the Toys r Us bags? They are great! And they donate the money to Autism research. Would anyone mind getting one of those? Or I can send Price cutter or Harter House but that's all we have around here that's not a huge chain store.

I would be glad to send to anyone and receive from anyone. There's only one large brand name I have already and I like the color so I wouldn't mind getting another one (although yes, technically I could get it myself, too). If anyone wants to swap with me (I have ones that say New York on them - they're from making donations to the New York Food Bank) - please PM me :)

the only bags I have are Trader Joe's, Petco, and Barnes and Noble. I don't need ones like Target or Wal-Mart, most anything else is good though!
