Black and white photographs

I love taking black and white photographs. I think it takes me back to my childhood when I used to help my dad print black and white pictures in the darkroom in the basement.

But I do think that black and white works particularly strongly for certain types of images.

For this swap, you will be emailing your partner two black and white pictures that you have taken. The pictures MUST be taken by you. Any subject is fine.

In your email, tell your partners a bit about the pictures, why you took them, whether you took them in black and white in camera or whether you converted them in post-processing, why you think they work in black and white, etc. If you want to send a colour version of any of them along with your black and white photo, so that you can discuss the difference, that's fine.
