Description:

Isn't it relaxing to sit down to a nice cup of tea? I've recently been turned on to tea and find it so enjoyable to have a cup of tea in the afternoons when my daughter is taking her nap.

Whether you like it warm with milk, or over ice with lemon, tea is a fantastic and versatile beverage!

  • This swap is senders choice, but please be considerate to your partners preferences, allergies etc.

  • You will send your partner 1 box of tea or 1.5 to 2 ounces of loose tea and a note telling them about the tea, and why you chose it.

  • If you wish, you can send your partner different types of tea, but be sure to send them at least 15 bags of individually packaged tea. The box of tea can be one of the boxes where the tea bags are not individually packaged, but then the outside of the box must be sealed in cellophane for freshness.

  • If you are sending loose tea, please send the tea in the original packaging from the retailer. You may want to consider putting the original package of loose tea inside another zip-top bag to avoid a tea explosion during shipping. (Then the whole original bag would be inside another bag. Double protection)

  • If you are sending loose tea, you may want to consider sending your partner a tea or ball for them to use - they may have never used loose tea before!

  • The spending limit is $5-$8 USD before shipping.

  • Let's make this a WOW swap - send your partner tea that you think they will really enjoy! Sending the barest of technical requirements really isn't in the spirit of a group swap. Quality over quantity is usually appreciated.

  • Please no Lipton or the everyday tea. Try to make it special for your partner.

  • This swap is open to all members of our group and is international.

Please leave a comment below if you have any allergies or extreme dislikes of tea flavors and also the flavors that REALLY float your boat or a flavor that you've been dying to try and just can't find it locally by you.

If there is something that can't be sent into the country where you live that could potentially be in a tea, be sure to let your partner know.

Enjoy and have fun!

I love any kind of tea but Pu-her/red tea..if it's just a couple of bags that's fine because my mom will gladly have them but pleeease don't send me a whole pu-her box..

Please not loose tea for me! If is possible i will be happy with a box of a good non flavoured black tea (english breakfast, earl grey, assam, ceylon, irish breakfast...)! Thanks in advance! :-)

I really dislike Earl Grey (but it's my husband's favorite) or flowery tasting teas. I'm like @kizmet in that I wouldn't mind a few bags of anything if it's in a sampler pack. I'm happy with bags or with loose tea and look forward to a surprise. Thanks! :-)

I'm like SweetClementine and kitzmet and I am open to any flavors, or if it is loose or bagged. I've been looking for a lavender flavored black tea, but haven't found any locally yet. That would totally float my boat, but is not necessary! :-)

I dislike licorice flavored tea, and anything with Echinacea (cone flower) gives me tummy upsets.

I love green tea :)

I'm not really keen on plain black tea, though if it is chai or has some other strong flavour then that is ok. Not really keen on liqourice, ginger or lemon tea. Anything else is fine ~ green, white, red, fruit, spicey or anything really. I especially like chai, vanilla, coconut or almond, but will be happy with anything. :)
