My Dear Georgettes,

Let us indulge ourselves with making one another a lovely Christmas Seasonal Card with the subject of THE KISSING BALL.

A little history of its later origins - During the Middle Ages, villagers would wind together twine and evergreen branches into a ramshackle ball shape. In the center of this evergreen bouquet they would place a clay figure of an infant to represent the baby Jesus. These β€œholy boughs”, as they were called, would be hung from the ceiling along passageways in castles and big houses to render blessings and good luck to all who passed under the bough and the holy infant.

During our Georgian era, finding joy in a friendship was a delight for the ladies, as it is within our Georgettes, and for our purposes, we are offering goodwill for our partner for the next 12 month.

Please will you not join us in creating your own Kissing Ball and include a wish for your partner within its walls.

May your days be merry and bright.

This is a straight forward swap.

Design your partner a Kissing Ball card, which they can display proudly within their home.

Write a message of seasonal greetings with a wish, that they may enjoy 12 months of Good Will for the year.

You may write in your own voice or in your Characters voice, or both if you would like.

One partner each, and a quick send by so they may have it before Christmas, fingers crossed.

Fond regards, Jane, Nickalli and Anna
