While we Canucks love swapping with our American and overseas friends, we thought we'd have a little fun with our own swap --- and save on some postage at the same time!

This will be a Canadian swap to 2 partners each for:

  1. A photo or postcard (made or bought) of anything predominantly red and white (those being the colours of our national flag).

  2. Something small and handmade, in any medium or material, valued at no more than $5 Cdn, that represents one of (1)your province, (2)your city, 3)your neighbourhood, 4)your favourite Canadian place or (5)your favourite Canadian holiday, e.g., Canada Day, Victoria Day, Rememberance Day - please specify if not obvious. Ideas: ATC, fridge magnet, collage, pin/brooch, bracelet, earrings, pendant, ornament, card, bookmark, keychain, zine, etc.

  3. And, since Canada is a young, multicultural country, a note, as long or short as you want, about your cultural background/ancestry (even if you are 6th generation Canadian!). Make it interesting!

This is open to all swappers living in Canada with at least a 4.7 rating (if your swapping history is wonky, please PM me to explain - otherwise, I will have to ban you) and completed profiles (not just one or two lines please). Newbies welcome.

This is timed so that everyone should receive their swaps by July 1st, Canada Day!

Ack, I haven't sent my packages out yet! :( I'm leaving town for a few days on Wednesday but will try to get these out before I go! Sorry to my partners for having to wait so long. I was so happy about the long time frame given to us but I'm still down to the wire! :D
