Forth Of July Scrap Fabric & Thread Swap USA Only

What do you mean by quilting thread? Handquilting, machine piecing, or machine quilting??

I bought some at Joann's it's called Americana Quilting Thread 100% Glaced Cotton 150 yards 99cents. Is this enough? I'm still new to quilting myself. I'm not looking for a big expense on this.

Ladies, I'm so excited about this! (HeatherS, I've used the Americana Quilting Thread from Joann's, and it was great.) I will send my items asap, as we're driving to NJ for our wedding on June 1st. We leave the country for our honeymoon on June 13th, and won't return until the 25th. If anyone has a problem with receiving late feedback, please let me know, and I'll drop out. If not, I can't wait to have some quilting surprises awaiting me when I get home!

Okay, here it is in a nutshell... We live in Florida, we're driving to NJ to be married June 9th. We're driving back to FL on the 10th, and we fly to St Vincent and the Grenadines on the 13th. We've chartered a catamaran! It's the coolest thing I've ever done/will do, and I just cannot wait!!! I can't wait to dive in the Grenadines... though I may be tempted to never return, our return flight touches down just shy of midnight on the 24th, so I "technically" won't be home til the 25th, (we live an hour from the airport).
And, HeatherS, I'm jealous, believe it or not, I've never been to Vegas, but would love to!

Sorry ladies, with disney land and the pain i am in right now i forgot all about assigning partners. I'm going to the dr. today. I can't handle it no more. I stopped taking pain meds a ways back but I don't think that was a smart move lol. And I don't know what else is wrong, my kidneys are killing me if I stand for more than 10 min, my left leg from walking all day at DL has blood raised to the skin, my ostomy is killing me. So I'm dragging myself in. I HATE GOING I AM SO SICK OF GOING TO THE DR'S. Oh and just wish me luck, no sympathy please or i'll just start crying. lol I wasn't writing this for sympathy but just to let you know. Hugs Heather

I think it's going to be an expensive request but it's what she uses. And I asked lol so if it is expensive it is. And these will be my last few till after surgery anyway so..... buttons on my underwear Oh btw I found better thread than the 99cent stuff I got at walmart it's a bit more but hey ya'll are worth it lmao just don't tell hubby

Wow Debbi you are quick, I haven't even gotten to mine yet. lol I am still trying to finish a doily. It's a lot harder than I thought, it's been a long time since I crocheted.

Oh my goodness Debbi, I love it! What a extra special swap. I opened the package on the way to getting hubby's work bike from the shop and the girls eye's lit up. The garland was a hit for them. I don't have much to decorate yet for the 4th. Most of my decorations are Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. So I will make sure it last's for years to come. Hubby gave me a look. lmbo See he tells me to stop buying decorations for the holiday's lol. I have probably over 25 xmas trees. And about 15 or more huge rubbermade bins loaded with just xmas stuff. And it's all in the storage bin in the back of the property. So he was full of joy when he saw the decoration. (not)lol ILOVEIT THANK YOU BUNCHES HAHAHAHA Oh does anyone have any ideas on what to make for the 4th with this wonderful material we are all swapping? Easy somethings? lol Oh coasters?

Here's the next one, it will be after the summer but you can sign up now. It's for Halloween and it's in Aug. so that will give plenty of time to find fabrics if you don't have it. Hi ladies, I'm a little concerned. One of the girls has brought it to my attention that the swap doesn't state that we are to send 4th of July fabric. She was under the understanding that it was just because of the holiday coming up so she had picked things from that person's profile. I will have to go back to my Halloween one and fix it. I see that Debbi so far is the only one who has sent. So I might be able to catch this in time. I did mean however that it be the holiday fabric that needed to be sent. If this doesn't happen I guess I could make up for my mistake and angel out that type of material. I'm very sorry for the confusion. Please let me know Heather

I'll be sending my swaps out tomorrow. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to pack it up lol. Maybe I should opt for the smaller spools of thread. I bought the bigger spools but wasn't thinking of the packaging. The one I got from Debbi was perfect. I actually had fun searching for it lol. ok tomorrow after we drop the kids off at school we have to go get the thread and than I will drop it at the post office. I sure hope my partners love it! lol

Anna, thank you for such a wonderful package. I can't wait to see the pic's of the wedding. You were like me, got it out right on time. I hope it wasn't too hard for you. I was a little worried cause it didn't say sent lol.
