Description:

Dear Ladies,

The Georgians did celebrate St. Valentine’s day, sending cards to their sweethearts, although many were signed with a question mark to add mystery. It was during the latter part of the Georgian Era that the first Valentine’s Day cards were mass produced.

For our swap, lets send our partner a Valentine’s Day card, but to make it special we will be adding 14 hearts to our envelope to mark the holiday. Let’s have fun with this and send a variety of hearts.

You may send any Valentine you want, modern day, vintage, or you can make one, whichever you choose. As for the hearts, there should be 14 hearts, but they can be interpreted as brads, buttons, washi featuring hearts, punched images of hearts, postcards showing a heart image and etc. You could also make a pretty journal embellishment in a heart shape that would count as one heart. Use your imagination and send your partner an envelope filled with loveliness, something that will elicit a gasp of delight from your partner. Decorate your envelope if you are so inclined, just to make your swap more special.

To clarify, if you are sending small stickers please send six to equal one of your hearts, and washi, ribbon or lace should be at least 12 inches long.

This is a fairly straight forward swap, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Happy St. Valentine’s Day!
