PCA: Squiggles (1:1)

One Partner; One PC (4 x 6”)

This one is easy! Lay your Postcard on a piece of scrap paper approx. twice its size. Holding the card in position (portrait or landscape) with your non-dominant hand, place your pencil in the middle of the PC & close your eyes.

Draw some lines without lifting your pencil from the paper. You can do a circles, squiggles, triangles, etc., just do not remove your pencil from the paper or open your eyes. If the pencil pops off the edge, place it back in the approximate place it left the card & keep on going.

When you feel you have done enough, open your eyes. Your design should cover the PC, corner to corner & edge to edge. If not, you can replace the pencil on the paper, close your eyes & finish.

When your drawing is finished, trace over the lines in indelible black pen. Continue the experiment by laying a bunch of colors randomly out in front of you, close your eyes, pick a color & place it on the card. Open your eyes & use that color to color the segment it is touching. Replace the color randomly & repeat the process until your card is done.

Send to your partner naked or in clear envelope. Include short note on reverse left side. Include group name, title of swap, and return address.
