WIYM: Bookpage Watercolor Fodder

Continuing the Watercolor Collage Fodder!

This isn’t my idea. Via the public forum I found out about the Willa Wander’s Fodder classes and i’m just loving the easy flow of creating imperfect art. For this swap we will use bookpages!

Bookpages are different sizes but your pages shouldn’t be smaller than a postcard (4x6 inches). If the page is thin, glue two pages together. Your page is going to need to be a bit sturdy.

The base medium will be watercolors, remember watercolor markers, gouache, pencils and such are ok too!

Then go ahead and feel free to use other mediums such as: distress ink, fineliners, stempels…. that’s up to you. We are making a collage. So if you want to add scraps of this and that, go ahead!

You will send the whole bookpage. No fussy cutting this time. No washi tape or stickers.

What’s the theme? Well, that’s up to you! I have seen so many beautiful ideas. Flowers, animals, springtime, etc. etc. Have a look at Pinterest or Youtube for inspiration!

This is supposed to be fun so do take the allotted time and enjoy the process. The swapbot picture I made myself.

Remember to write your name and the name of this swap somewhere on or in your lightly decorated envelope. Write a little something about your creation.
