Description:

For this swap you will make 20 handmade tags for 1 partner. They can be any color or theme. They can say thank you, for you, to: from:, or nothing at all and only a picture. They can all be different or you can do them in sets. You can start making them now or wait until partners are assigned so you can do some based on their profile. It's up to you. Be creative. BE NEAT! BE NEAT! BE NEAT! All tags must have ribbon, twine or something attached so they can be tied on to a gift. I think hearts should be given for packaging and NEATNESS! So get out those cutting machines, shape punchers, hole punchers, pretty card stock and stamps out, and have fun.

Must be at a 4.9 to participate. 10 swaps under your belt. (e-mails don't count) No no-sends. I will ban anyone that looks fishy in order to protect the legit swappers.

This sounds like fun - I/m right into ATC, postcards, 4 x 4 at the moment, so this will be a nice change.

I have lots of tags that I'd be happy to send someone in the U.S. I've been swapping for years and have many that I've received in swaps. It'll be interesting -- especially for someone new to papercrafting -- to see the various types/styles and approaches to tags. PM if you're intested.

I'd love to join, has anyone any objection to laminated tags??, i write on them when using them on a gift with a sharpie marker.

Just as long as they're 100% handmade. Meaning they have to be made from various card stock, ribbon, twine, glue, stamped images (printed images are ok) , shape punchers, or your die cut machines. The picture above is a simple example to follow. You can add your own twists like layering deco print papers, beads, ribbons, glitter, markers, etc. They most definitely have to be made from card stock and they have to be pretty and neat.

This is a great swap! I am always looking for creative ways for labeling gifts and packages. I would love to see someone elses twist on their homemade tag design.

dang, this swap is perfect....i need to not be a newbie here quickly, but email swaps dont count....aaaahhh i will never get to swap like a normal person on this site

btw, i can link to a site where i have a great (sometimes late, for good reasons) swap record though...:)

Sorry MissDisney. I can't change the rules for you. There's been wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much flaking going on lately. I can't angel this swap. Don't worry, you won't be a newbie forever. Flakers are the whole reason for the rating rule. You have to prove yourself 1st, then you'll be free to join any swap you like. So sorry! :)
