TGIF Notecard #4

Hello UK Swappers. It's a long weekend (for most, sorry if you have to work the weekend) so let's send a nice long notecard. It doesn't matter what you do, it doesn't have to be action-packed, just share your weekend with your swap partner.

The TGIF notecard series is a writing swap, originally created by Riftvegan and it's been running for nearly 400 weeks and still going strong. I've asked if they mind if we run a UK version in this group and there's no problem with that so here's the first. Can we keep going that long?

it's a quick turnaround swap so sign up by Friday and then on Monday send your partner a notecard or a letter telling them the exciting (or not so exciting) things you did at the weekend. (As it's a bank holiday I'm going to extend the send date to the Tuesday for this one).

Put some time and effort into your writing, treat it like a shared journal entry. Jot down some details, write the Whys and the Wherefores, and take a moment with your swap partner!

Did you go out on date night? Go camping? Stayed home and watched the grass grow? Whatever you did, write a note Sunday evening or Monday morning telling all about it.

Your message should be a minimum of a notecard in length, writing on all or most of the blank areas of the card a minimum of A6/C6 size. You can use stationery instead of a notecard if you prefer.

Please be aware of the very fast turnaround time: Partners are assigned Saturday morning and your notecard/letter should go out with the Tuesday Post.

Everyone is Welcome Newbies: Please fill out your profile, it should be at least a page long. No unexplained 1s and 3s I will have to remove people who haven't resolved any previous issues as I'm leaving the rating open on this one so newbies can join.
